Yeah, so I got home from Friday night work at about 4am Saturday morning (that’s the way night shift works, y’see?); then I took a 4-hour nap and got myself ready to go do that wacky 24-Hour Comic Thang, then I took the bus up to the Ogre and did the wacky thang for about 23 hours or so… I had an enormously awesome time, met some very cool people (fellow participants as well as curious readers) whom I didn’t previously know, drew (nearly) 12 pages of a Zombie-Blink story (which will eventually see publication), then I took the bus home and here it is, one in the freakin’ afternoon and I’m still awake???

Before I sign off and fall into a coma, I’d like to say THANK YOU to all the Ogres (there were quite a few of you) who helped to make this event happen and made it happy.  Here are a few photos of the Laughing 24-Hour Comic Day Ogre Event to prove to you that I didn’t hallucinate the whole thing.

Michael & Mary Neno talking with Sheldon Gleisser at the Sunday Comix 24-Hour Jam table (15 panels were filled in by various artists over the course of the day/night).

Tyler Hopkins arrived at the Ogre early and ended up having to leave early due to transportation “issues.”

Ryan E. Horvath & I were the stalwart members of the Columbus Ogre 24-Hour Comic Day experiment.  Neither of us actually completed a 24-page comic, but we stayed there at our post for nearly the entire time.

This is Joshua.  He is a crazy/awesome dude who sat down with Ryan and I (after Tyler had left us) and got to work drawing some comics for a few hours during the wee hours of the night/morning.  I hope to have his comics art posted here or elsewhere very soon.
